The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) published the UK Green Claims Code after research found that 42% of green claims made could not be substantiated. Meanwhile, the EU has implemented similar regulations under its EU Green Claims Directive, all of which are to provide a framework for which companies can communicate their sustainability work with confidence and clarity.
